Roadrunners Remain Undefeated with Win Over South Puget Sound

ALBANY, Ore. — Emily Huson scored 15 points, grabbed seven rebounds, had five assists and four steals to lead Linn-Benton Community College past South Puget Sound 74-36 in the final game of the LB Women's Basketball Classic Saturday evening. 

Huson also earned Tournament Most Valuable Player for her performance over the two-game tournament. Marri-Anna Martinez, who also contributed 15 points, was named to the all-Tournament team.

The win kept the Roadrunners' record perfect at 5-0. South Puget Sound dropped to 0-4.

Megan Wagner (13) and Elizabeth Chavez (12) rounded out the Roadrunners in double figures. LBCC's defense forced 19 SPS turnovers on the night.

The Roadrunners host Bellevue Sunday at 2:00 p.m.
