Roadrunners Host Dig Pink Night Against Umpqua

Carrillo- Dig Pink

ALBANY, Ore. — Linn Benton Community College is proud to partner with The Side-Out Foundation on its mission to spread the word about the Dig Pink initiative. Dig Pink’s mission is to unify the volleyball community to drive change in the way that breast cancer is treated.

Each October, volleyball teams across the nation select a match to support breast cancer awareness and help raise money for the Side-Out Foundation. LBCC's Dig Pink match is tomorrow, October 23, 2019 versus Umpqua. Match time is 6:30 p.m.
In addition to raising awareness, LBCC will be making a financial contribution to the Side-Out Foundation. All gate receipts will be donated along with proceeds from a special raffle for LBCC merchandise.
About the Side-Out Foundation:

"At the Side-Out Foundation, we believe in using the power and influence of sports to build players as people on and off the court. Through our programs, players learn the value and importance of giving back to the community, working as a team, and taking initiative to get involved; all while directly helping people living with stage 4 breast cancer and funding game-changing research."
