ALBANY, Ore. — Freshman Mykah Mendoza scored 24 points on 11-for-19 shooting to lead Linn-Benton past Corban's gold squad 93-67 in the LB Classic finale Thursday night.
The Roadrunners (2-2) outrebounded Corban 56-26 on the night. Cade Smith and Jackson Oglesby led the Roadrunners with 10 and nine rebounds, respectively.
Besides Mendoza, Linn-Benton got a balanced scoring attack with Smith (12 points), Kenyon Jones (11), Eli Lerman and Oglesby (10 each).
The Roadrunners nexzt travel to Lower Columbia on Tuesday.
