ALBANY, Ore. — A late second half run pulled Linn-Benton to within three points, but Lane held on to defeat the Roadrunners 81-78 in NWAC South Region men's basketball action Wednesday night.
Liam Spencer scored a game-high 22 points for the Roadrunners (6-9, 1-1 NWAC South) while Mykah Mendoza added 21 points and 11 rebounds. Trey Kim contributed a season-high 17 points and five rebounds off the bench for Linn-Benton.
Ben Thornbrue led Lane (11-1, 2-0) with 20 points.
Linn-Benton next travels to Mt. Hood on Saturday afternoon.
