Roadrunners Win Season Opener

ALBANY, Ore. - The Roadrunner men's basketball team earned their first win of the season as they hosted the Sasquatch of Spokane Community College. Linn-Benton (1-0, 0-0 NWAC South) won the high scoring affair 93-87.

Linn-Benton rallied from a seven point halftime deficit to reclaim the lead in the second half of a back and forth contest. The Sasquatch (0-1, 0-0 NWAC East) refused to go away and battled until the final minutes but the host Roadrunners were able to secure the victory late.

Kaiden Ford led the way with a game-high 38 points. Linn-Benton next travels to Walla Walla, Washington for a game against the Warriors of Walla Walla Community College. That game will be played on Monday, November 24 and is slated for a 5:30PM start.
