ALBANY, Ore. - The Linn-Benton men's basketball team returned to action and saw five players reach double figure scoring in an 86-71 victory over the Chokers of Grays Harbor College. The Roadrunners (3-1, 0-0 NWAC South) shot a blistering 69.4% from the field in the win.
Anthony Best had 18 points and 11 rebounds while Gabe Townsend scored 10 points to go with eight rebounds. Braxton Long scored 14, Kaiden Ford had 21 and Colin Cordle had 10. Linn-Benton also outrebounded Grays Harbor (0-7, 0-0 NWAC West) 41-24.
The Roadrunners will travel east for three games in three days at the Sasquatch Classic in Spokane, Washington. The team's first opponent will be Treasure Valley on Friday, December 5 with a scheduled tip-off time of 5:30PM.
