ALBANY, Ore. - In their final game before south region play begins, the Linn-Benton men's basketball team defeated the Columbia Basin College Hawks 79-75 at home. The teams battled into the final minutes of the game, before clutch free throw shooting helped the Roadrunners (6-7, 0-0 NWAC South) secure the win.

Kaiden Ford led the way with a game-high 37 points while making four consecutive free throws with the game in the balance during the final minute. Anthony Best had 17 points on the night as well.

Linn-Benton will start their south region play on Wednesday, January 7 when they host the Storm of Chemeketa Community College. That contest is scheduled for a 5:30PM start time.
