Roadrunners Drop Road Game at Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. - The Linn-Benton men's basketball team fell to the Panthers of Portland Community College 84-77 on the road Saturday. The team trailed 40-35 at halftime and could not overcome the deficit in the second half. 

Kaiden Ford led the way offensively with 30 points, while Anthony Best had 19 points and eight rebounds. Gabe Townsend scored 15 points. The Roadrunners (7-8, 1-1 NWAC South) shot well from the field, but committed 20 turnovers which the Panthers (8-6, 1-2 NWAC South) converted into points at the other end.

Linn-Benton will next travel to Roseburg to take on the Riverhawks of Umpqua Community College on Wednesday, January 21. That game is scheduled for a 5:30PM start time.
