Roadrunners Split Pair of Region Games

ALBANY, Ore. - Playing two games in three days, the Linn-Benton men's basketball team defended their homecourt in a high scoring affair with Clackamas, before falling on the road to Mt. Hood Community College.

Game 1: On Saturday, January 17 the Roadrunners (8-10, 2-3 NWAC South) hosted Clackamas Community College and came away with a 107-103 victory. Kaiden Ford was one of six players in double figures for Linn-Benton with 26 points, while JoJo Harrower had a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Gabe Townsend scored 20 points in the victory.

Game 2: Linn-Benton would then travel to Gresham to take on the Saints of Mt. Hood Community College and the team would struggle to keep pace with their high scoring attack. The Roadrunners would lose the contest 105-88. Ford again led the team in scoring with a game-high 38 points but the Saints were on fire, shooting 60% from the field for the game including 13 makes from beyond the arc.

The Roadrunners will look to bounce back as they return home Wednesday, January 21 and host the Lane Community College Titans. That game is scheduled for a 5:30PM tip-off.
