Roadrunners Drop Home Contest to Titans

ALBANY, Ore. - The Linn-Benton men's basketball team fell behind in the first half and could not recover as they lost to Lane Community College 90-79 at home. The Titans jumped out to a 45-34 halftime lead and the Roadrunners (8-11, 2-4 NWAC South) could not retake the lead in the second half.

Lane (8-10, 3-3 NWAC South) shot 54% in the first half and forced 13 turnovers in the first twenty minutes to build their lead. Linn-Benton settled in defensively in the second half but could not overcome the early deficit. Aidan Moore led the Roadrunners with 18 points, Braxton Long scored 15 points and JoJo Harrower and Jackson Oglesby each had 11. 

The Roadrunners will return to action as they will face Clark College on Saturday, January 24 at 2:00PM. That game will be played at Portland Community College.
