PORTLAND, Ore. - Linn-Benton men's basketball fell behind early, but made clutch plays in the second half to force overtime. The team could not take control in the extra session and fell to Clark College 84-78. The game was moved from Clark College and was played at Portland Community College.
The Penguins (15-6, 7-1 NWAC South) started strong and took a 48-33 lead into the halftime break. Linn-Benton (8-12, 2-5 NWAC South) played one of their best defensive halves of the season in the second half, holding Clark to just 23 points and knotting up the contest 71-71 at the end of regulation. Clark would take the lead late in overtime to secure the win.
