Roadrunners Defeat Penguins at Home

ALBANY, Ore. - Linn-Benton men's basketball had one of their best all-around performances of the year as they defeated Clark College 101-70. The Roadrunners (11-14, 5-7 NWAC South) led by double digits for the majority of the game, holding the Penguins (16-10, 8-5 NWAC South) to just 24 first half points.

Kaiden Ford led the team in scoring with a game-high 34 points, while Kai Russell had 25 and Gabe Townsend scored 21. The hosts were very efficient as they shot better than 50% from the field and beyond the arc. Linn-Benton also dished out 21 assists to just 9 turnovers, while forcing 19 Clark turnovers.

The Roadrunners return to action when they host Mt. Hood Community College Monday, February 16. That contest is scheduled to start at 4:00PM.
