Linn-Benton Drops Road Contest at Lane

EUGENE, Ore. - The Linn-Benton men's basketball team were unable to extend their winning streak as they fell to the Titans of Lane Community College 95-80. The hosts made a run towards the end of the first half to take a 47-39 lead into the break and the Roadrunners (12-15, 6-8 NWAC South) were unable to retake the lead in the second half.

Five different Roadrunners scored double figure points, led by the 16 points of JoJo Harrower, while Braxton Long had 15 of his own. Linn-Benton took care of the ball, recording only 10 turnovers, but were unable to score efficiently as they shot just 36% from the field for the game.

The Roadrunners will next travel to Oregon City to take on the Cougars of Clackamas Community College. That contest is scheduled for a 2:00PM start Saturday, February 21.
