ALBANY, Ore. — Brooklynn Hankwitz and Halo Parks each scored 16 points to lead Linn-Benton past Edmonds 65-50 in non-Conference NWAC women's basketball action Friday night in day one of the Roadrunner Classic.
The Roadrunners (4-0) outrebounded the Tritons 46-25 and limited them to 27% field goal shooting.
Sabrina Albee added 10 points for Linn-Benton and Eduarda Reolon had a team-high seven assists. Hankwitz recorded a game-high 10 rebounds for the Roadrunners.
In the early game, Treasure Valley defeated Portland 84-67.
Linn-Benton faces Treasure Valley Saturday at 4:00 p.m.
