AUBURN, Wash. - Emmaly Welch scored 16 points and grabbed five rebounds to lead Linn-Benton past host Green River in non-Conference NWAC women's basketball action Friday night.
The Roadrunners (6-0) held Green River to just 18% field goal shooting and outrebounded the Gators 50-45.
Brooklynn Hankwitz added nine points for Linn-Benton while Kathleen Hale had six points and a team-high seven rebounds.
The Roadrunners travel to Tacoma Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
