ALBANY, Ore. — Hannah Berschauer scored 20 points to lead Linn-Benton past Portland 67-54 in the NWAC South Region women's basketball opener for both teams.
The Roadrunners (9-4, 1-0 in NWAC South) also got 14 points apiece from Kylee Baumgartner and Katelynn Weaver, while Natalia McBride added 10 pionts and a game-high 11 rebounds.
Linn-Benton forced 15 Panther turnovers and outrebounded Portland 40-38.
Linn-Benton next hosts Lane on Wednesday night.
