ALBANY, Ore. — Katelynn Weaver scored 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead Linn-Benton past Southwestern Oregon 65-51 in NWAC South Region women's basketball action Wednesday night.
The Roadrunners (12-8, 4-4 NWAC South) also received 11 points apiece from Natalia McBride and Hannah Berschauer, while Kylee Baumgartner added seven points and 10 rebounds.
Linn-Benton held Southwestern (5-14, 1-7) to just 32% field goal shooting for the game. The Roadrunners also outrebounded the Lakers 42-32.
Linn-Benton next travels to Portland on Saturday to begin round two of conference play.
