McGrorty No-Hitter Leads Linn-Benton to Sweep of Clackamas

ALBANY, Ore. - The Linn-Benton baseball team had standout performances from their pitching staff in a pair of victories against Clackamas Community College. Game 2: The second contest, scheduled for seven innings, featured a performance for the ages. Freshman pitcher Talon McGrorty would go the distance, pitching all seven innings for the Roadrunners allowing no hits and striking out seven batters.

The Roadrunners offense struggled to get on track, but in the top of the seventh inning Nick Biagi would hit a double and later advance to third on a defensive miscue.
