A Stacher sacrifice fly in the fifth inning scored Chanz Flores and made it a 2-0 lead, but the Riverhawks would score two runs in the sixth inning to tie it up at 2-2.

An RBI single from Boston Caron scored Mark Carpenter allowing the Roadrunners to retake the lead as pitcher Dayne Castillo came on in relief for three scoreless innings as he allowed just one hit while recording the save. Cooper Yudhishthu earned the win with six strong innings.
