LAKEWOOD, Wash. - Kyree Davis scored 21 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead Linn-Benton Community College past Whatcom 75-64 in the opening night of the Pierce College Raider Classic Friday night.
The win improved the Roadrunners' record to 4-1 on the season. Whatcom dropped to 2-3.
Fred Harding IV added 13 points and eight rebounds while Jaray Thomas added 18 points off the bench for the Roadrunners.
As a team, LBCC shot 48% from the field and outrebounded Whatcom 48-29.
The Roadrunners continue at the Raider Classic Saturday versus Wenatchee Valley at 4:00 p.m.
