Linn-Benton Win Two at NWAC Crossover

ALBANY, Ore. - The Linn-Benton volleyball team started their weekend off with two wins as they are hosting the 2025 NWAC Crossover on their home floor. The Roadrunners (8-2, 0-0 NWAC South) defeated Centralia College (10-5, 0-0 NWAC West) 3-0 and then rallied for a 3-2 victory over a tough Treasure Valley (12-2, 0-0 NWAC East) squad.

The NWAC Crossover features eight teams from all four regions of the NWAC. Each team plays two matches per day of the tournament.

Day One Recap:

The first pair of matches featured the hosts beating Centralia, but also saw Yakima Valley defeat Lower Columbia 3-2 in a thriller. Edmonds won 3-0 against Mt. Hood in the second round of games, which also saw Treasure Valley claim a 3-0 victory over Whatcom.

The afternoon session started with two matches going five sets each, as Edmonds defeated Yakima Valley 3-2 and Linn-Benton defeated Treasure Valley by the same score. Centralia faced off with Whatcom and came away with a 3-0 victory, while Lower Columbia defeated Mt. Hood 3-1.

The schedule for Saturday features Treasure Valley taking on Centralia and Edmonds facing Lower Columbia with both matches starting at 9:00AM. Linn-Benton will match up with Whatcom while Yakima Valley will play against Mt. Hood at 11:30AM.
