SALEM, Ore. - Linn-Benton volleyball got back to their winning ways with a three set road victory against Chemeketa Community College. The Roadrunners (10-4, 1-1 NWAC South) won convincingly with set scores of 25-14, 25-14 and 25-12.
Linn-Benton was led by a pair of sophomores as Amy Pappas had a game high eight kills while Annabelle Peterson recorded seven kills and six solo blocks. Freshman Josie Jenness had 19 assists and Avery Axmaker had a game-high seven digs.
Chemeketa (7-7, 1-1 NWAC South) struggled to score consistently, with a hitting efficiency of -.046 while Linn-Benton hit .491.
The Roadrunners complete their three game road swing as they travel to Gresham, Ore. on Wednesday, September 24 to take on the Saints of Mt. Hood Community College. First serve for that match is scheduled for 6:00PM.
