VANCOUVER, Wash. - The Linn-Benton volleyball team headed north to face the Clark College Penguins and defeated the hosts in straight sets. Linn-Benton (21-6, 12-3 NWAC South) recorded set scores of 25-22, 25-17 and 25-13 in the victory.
A trio of Roadrunners led the way with Amy Pappas and Lana Gillas both having 11 kills while Mazie Reeser chipped in with ten of her own. Mia Monaghan was credited with 14 digs and setters Josie Jenness and Klaire Bitter had 22 and 17 assists respectively.
The Roadrunners have secured their spot in the postseason and will await the results of other regions to see whom they will face and where in the first round of championship play.
Linn-Benton will travel to Eugene for their final regular season contest of the year as they face off against the Lane Community College Titans. First serve for that match is scheduled for 6:00PM.
